It is a festival of colors in which people put color on each other. Before the Holi, people buy colors and Abeer from the market. These days the festivity increases in the markets. There is a different enthusiasm at this festival.

Children buy different types of water guns from the market on this day. On the day of Holi, by this water gun, they use it for coloring others. Holika Dahan occurs during the night before one day of Holi. In Holika Dahan, dry wood, grasshoppers, etc. are burnt. For this, people voluntarily give donations. The dry wood and other materials are purchased for the Holika Dahan from these donations.
